Lo que sale del fuego (What Comes Out of the Fire)
er en fælles installation af tre kunstnere fra hver sit land: Gaspar Gorodisch (Argentina), Pep Boadas (Catalonien) og Miguel Ángel B. Torres (Colombia). Projektet tager udgangspunkt i en performance i Guldagergaards nedbrændte værkstedsbygning (nedbrændt i 2023), hvor det at arbejde kunstnerisk i ruinerne blev en måde at vække stedet til live igen.
Det, der i begyndelsen var en reaktion på tabet af værkstederne blev en reflektion over styrke og modstandskraft – en undersøgelse af, hvordan mening kan opstå ud af det, der er tilbage.
Udstillingen, der er kurateret af Gaspar Gorodisch, forener keramik, fotografi og en bog i en refleksion over forvandling, brud og at favne det, der er.

Gaspar Gorodisch, Pep Boadas, Miguel Ángel B. Torres, Lo que sale del fuego (What Comes Out of the Fire), 2025
A joint installation by three artists from Argentina, Catalonia/Spain, and Colombia.
The project began with a performance in the burned-down workshop at Guldagergaard (2023), where creating art among ruins became a way of reawakening the space. What began as a response to loss evolved into a meditation on resilience — a search for meaning in what remains.
The exhibition, curated by Gaspar Gorodisch, brings together ceramics, photography, and a publication in a reflection on transformation, rupture, and the act of embracing what is.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Gaspar Gorodisch (Argentina/UK)
Explores how to inhabit what is broken. His ceramics reflect the tension between stability and instability, redefining breakage not as error, but as valid expression.
With a background in gastronomy, music, and industrial design, he now focuses on ceramics and photography.
Pep Boadas (Catalonia, Spain)
Trained in traditional pottery in the village of Quart, Boadas now explores deformation and destruction as artistic liberation — from tradition and personal history.
Educated at the University of Barcelona (2018) and MA in Ceramics from the University of the Basque Country.
Miguel Ángel B. Torres (Colombia)
Works between refined craftsmanship and intentional imperfection.
His forms are inspired by memory, childhood, and Colombian ceramic traditions — balancing smooth, thrown shapes with raw, tactile surfaces.
